Thank you Ms. Gilmour
Sue Gilmour has been the face of Royals Girls Basketball at Lord Selkirk Regional since 2008. She’s poured her time and energy into the program and raised the visibility of Selkirk girls basketball in the province. Ms. Gilmour was also instrumental in developing programs at the grass-roots level for both high school age and younger athletes, offering clinics and opportunities to learn, train, and play. Many of her former players continue to return to help coach the next generation of Royals hoopsters.
Ms. Gilmour and her husband, Matt, sons Tommy and Lucca will be moving to England this summer where Matt has accepted a research position. Sue will continue to teach physical education part-time at Wymondham High Academy. While basketball may not be a huge draw in the UK, perhaps Sue will coach the next English championship netball team! |
The Royals Athletic Program coaches and the LSRCSS teaching staff thank Ms. Gilmour for her years of dedication and for numerous contributions to the Comp’s Physical Education and Athletic programs. We wish Sue and her family the best of luck in their next great grand adventure. Pip pip cheerio!
